The French canoe race star for the recent 2016 Rio Olympics who was at the official opening ceremony of the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy, met Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture, as well as Arnaud Martin, the President of the Mauritius Tourism Promotional Authority (MTPA), and Gilbert Espitalier-Noel, the CEO of the Beachcomber Hotels and Resorts, with hotels in both Seychelles and Mauritius.

The tourism personalities from both Seychelles and Mauritius used the opportunity to present the unique attributes of their islands and the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands region. “The French canoe star said he is still hoping to compete in the next Olympics, and our association with such sporting personalities as Denis Gargaud can help bring success for sports tourism to the Indian Ocean,” said Minister St.Ange of the Seychelles.
